INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO ASSESS AND CHARACTERIZE THE SOLID WASTE POLLUTION STREAMS AND DEVELOP GUIDELINES FOR SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT UPSTREAM OF THWAKE DAM
TENDER No.: WRA/RFP/03/2021-2022
1. The Water Resources Authority invites sealed tenders for the provision of Consultancy Services to assess and characterize the solid waste pollution streams and develop guidelines for solid waste management upstream of Thwake Dam.
2. Tendering will be conducted under Open Competitive tendering method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours 8.00am to 5.00pm at the address given below. More details on the Services are provided in PART 2 – Services’ Requirements, Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs.1,000.00 (Kenya shillings One Thousand) in Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.wra.go.ke or www.tenders.go.ke.
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.wra.go.ke or www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@wra.go.ke /info@wra.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Ksh 450,000.00 (Kenya Shillings Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand) from insurance companies registered by IRA or financial institution registered by Central Bank of Kenya valid for a period of 156 days from the date of Tender Opening in the format provided in the Tender Document
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically and sequentially serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted in the format of 1,2,3,4………including the cover page and all other attachments.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Thursday 26th May, 2022 at 11.00am. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
