INVITATION TO TENDER
AUGMENTATION OF WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN OLJABET TOWN AND SITE PHASE II, NYAHURURU TOWN
TENDER REF NO: NYAHUWASCO/UPC/OT/011/2022-2023
1. The Nyahurururu Water and Sanitation Company limited invites sealed tenders for the Augmentation of Water Distribution System in Oljabet town and Site Phase II in Nyahururu town.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National Tender) using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours from 8:00a.m to 5:00p.m at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of non- refundable fees of Ksh.1, 000. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Company’s website www.nyahuwasco.co.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.nyahuwasco.co.ke. Or PPRA portal tenders.go.ke Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to this email, info@nyahuwasco.co.ke, Tel- 0652032753, 0728348312 on week days to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 126 days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Ksh.340, 000.00 from a reputable financial institution approved by PPRA.
8. Completed tenders documents in a plain sealed envelope bearing no indication of the tenderer but clearly marked with the “Tender Reference No. NYAHUWASCO/UPC/OT/011/2022-2023 for Augmentation of Water Distribution System in Oljabet town and Site Phase II in Nyahururu town and must be delivered to the address below on or before Tuesday, 5th July, 2022 at 10:30a.m. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. The tenderer must prepare one original document and clearly mark it “ORIGINAL” and three additional copies of the tender document and clearly mark it “COPY” and submit them to the
address below. The tenderer must chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the Company’s Boardroom in the presence of the interested tenderers or their representatives who chose to attend. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will not be accepted. The addresses referred to above are:
