PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES
TENDER REF NO: KIRDI 01/2022-2023
KIRDI invites invite tenders from eligible service providers for the Provision of Security Services for the period commencing 1st August 2022 to 31st July 2023 renewable once based on satisfactory performance.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information at the address given below. More details on the Services are provided in PART 2 – Services’ Requirements, Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.
3. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates electronically from the Website www.kirdi.go.ke and http://tenders.go.ke free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the websites. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@kirdi.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum. Failure to forward such information will lead to automatic disqualification.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” of Ksh 150,000.
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 11.00 am July 1st 2022 Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.

Sealed and marked tenders will be submitted physically addressed to THE DIRECTOR GENERAL, KENYA INDUSTRIAL RESEACH AND DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE, P.O BOX 30650-00100, and dropped in the tender box at the reception in Block D’ Ground floor.
