INVITATION TO TENDER
OPEN TENDER FOR PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES AT THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OFFICES, LOCATED ALONG
HARAMBEE AVENUE, OLD TREASURY BUILDING.
Tender (ITT) No: MFA/OT/002/2022-2023
The MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF P.O. BOX 30551-00100 NAIROBI Located along
Harambee avenue, Old Treasury Building. The Ministry therefore invites sealed tenders for the
provision of Cleaning Services at the Offices occupied by the Ministry. The provision of
cleaning services will be for a period of two years renewed annually based on good
performance. Cleaning will entail, cleaning of offices occupied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cleaning of Wash rooms an all-common area in the five (5No) floors.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to Youth and Women (AGPO) registered firms ONLY.
In case tender is subject to multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be
allowed to tender for one or more lots”.
The Tender is open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with
the Registrar of Companies.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours 0900 to1500 hours at the address given
below. More details on the Services are provided in PART 2 – Services’
Requirements, Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.
3. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.mfa.go.ke or www.tenders.go.ke Tenderers who download the tender
document must forward their particulars immediately to (procurement) to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a [insert “tender Security” or “TenderSecuring Declaration,” as appropriate] of [NO TENDER SECURITY REQUIRED.]
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
6. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before
Wednesday, 6th October, 2022 at 10:30am. Electronic Tenders will NOT be
permitted.
7. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose
to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
