1. The County Government of Lamu –Lamu Municipality invitessealed tendersfor the Proposed Sea Balconies
With Lounging Barazas
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method national using a standardized tender document.
Tenderingis reserved for AGPO Firms – Youth Catergory.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a nonrefundable fees of Ksh. 1,000.00/= in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender
documents may be obtained electronically from the Websites www.lamu.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke .
Tender documents obtained electronicallywill be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.lamu.go.ke and
www.tenders.go.ke . Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately
to procurement@lamu.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tendersshall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 120 days
fromthe date of openingoftenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration Form
8. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted.
9. Completed tenders must be submitted on the IFMIS SYSTEM on or before 12th March, 2024 at 11:00am.
MANUAL SUBMISSION of TendersWILLNOTbePERMITTED.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend atthe address below.
11. A Mandatory Site Visit will take Place at Lamu Municipality Office, Lamu Island, on the 7th March, 2024 at9:00am – 10:00am EAT
12. Late tenderswill be rejected. The IFMIS System will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender
closing.
