INVITATION TO TENDER
PROCURING ENTITY:
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF SPEAKER’S OFFICIAL FOR THE COUNTY ASSEMBLY OF LAMU
1. The County Assembly of Lamu invites tenders for the construction of the Proposed Construction of Speaker’s
Official Residence for the County Assembly of Lamu.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested bidders with NCA 5 and above Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours from 0800 to 1630 hours at the address given below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or
downloaded from the website lamuassembly.go.ke or PPIP portal www.tenders.go.ke.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders electronically free of charge on
IFMIS or be downloaded from the County Assembly website as stated below.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the PPIP Portal website
www.tenders.go.ke and the County Assembly of Lamu website lamuassembly.go.ke and on IFMIS
Supplier portal . Tenderers can register with the procurement department through
lamuassembly@gmail.come for any further clarification and addenda.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” of Kshs. 2,000,000.00. from a bank recognized by the Central Bank of Kenya.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be submitted online through the IFMIS supplier portal on or before 24th February, 2025
at 10:00AM Hard copy Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified. Late tenders will be rejected.
