INVITATION TO TENDER
ROUNTINE MAINTENANCE & SPOT IMPROVEMENT OF JIMARKA ROAD-UHURU IN KANJUIRI WARD-G23008

1. The County Government of Nyandarua through the Department of Public Works, Roads,
Transport, Housing and Energy invites sealed tenders from eligible construction companies to bid
for ROUNTINE MAINTENANCE & SPOT IMPROVEMENT OF JIMARKA ROADUHURU IN KANJUIRI WARD-G23008
2. Tendering will be conducted under Open competitive method (National) using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with
the National Treasury under Access for Government Procurement Opportunities for Women.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours [0900 to1600 hours] at the address given below.

4. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) http://www.nyandarua.go.ke
or www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge. Tenderers
who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to admintransport@nyandarua.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
5. Tendersshall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tendersshallremain valid
for (140) days from the date of opening oftenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration Form in the format prescribed
in the tender document valid for 170 days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. The Tenderer shall sequentially serialize all pages of the tender documentssubmitted including the
cover page.
8. Completed tenders MUST be submitted online through the Integrated Financial Management
Information Systems (IFMIS) and One (1 No.) Original hard copy delivered to the address below
on or before 7 FEBRUARY, 2025 at 11.00am.
- Director(s) bidding under different companies for the same tender will be disqualified.
- To enhance equity, bidders will only be awarded a maximum of two (2) contract as either a director
or a company under this tender notice and which are most advantageous to the Employer. - To enhance competitiveness, bidders should ensure that their rates in the bill of quantities are within
the known prevailing market rates for road works.
12.Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
13.Late tenders will be rejected.
