DEVELOPMENT OF ACTION PLANS FOR EXTENDING SOCIAL PROTECTION TO WORKERS IN THE INFORMAL ECONOMY
The International Labour Organization (ILO) is seeking a qualified consultant to support the development of county action plans for Kisumu and Mombasa. These action plans will guide the implementation of the Strategy for Extension of Social Protection to Workers in the Informal and Rural Economy in Kenya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct desk reviews and key informant interviews
- Develop action plans aligned with the ILO strategy for social protection
- Collaborate with technical working groups in each county
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in social sciences, development studies, economics, or related fields
- Proven expertise in social protection programs and public policy analysis
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
