INVITATION TO TENDER
AUTOMATION OF WATER KIOSKS AT EXISTING DESALINATION PLANT IN FAZA & KIUNGA WARDS.

1. The County Government of Lamu invites sealed tenders for the Automation of water kiosks at existing
desalination plant in Faza & Kiunga wards.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method national using a standardized tender document.
Tenderingis open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
4. . Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Websites www.lamu.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke
. Tender documents obtainedelectronicallywill be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.lamu.go.ke and
www.tenders.go.ke . Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately
to procurement@lamu.go.ke to facilitate anyfurther clarification or addendum.
6. Tendersshall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tendersshall remain valid for 120 days
from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender-Securing Declaration.
8. Completed tenders must be submitted on the IFMIS SYSTEM on or before 02nd April, 2025 at 11:00am.
MANUAL SUBMISSION of Tenders WILL NOT be PERMITTED.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend atthe address below.
10. Late tenderswill be rejected. The IFMIS System will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender closing.
