INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF DRY FOOD STUFF
TENDER REF No: NA/OT/024/2024-2025
1. The National Assembly invites sealed tender under framework Agreement for supply and delivery
of Dry Food Stuff as detailed under the tender requirements in the tender document.
2. The National Assembly will enter into Framework agreement with at least seven (7) firms who
shall be selected through this tendering process. The firms on framework agreement shall be
subjected to a mini competition as and when need arises during the contract period of two (2)
years.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours, 0800 to 1700 hours at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of non-refundable fees of Kenya shillings One thousand in cash or Banker’s Cheque and
payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the
Website www.parliament.go.ke or the PPIP portal www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained
electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.parliament.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to procurementna@parliament.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification
or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by an original tender security of Kshs. 50,000.00 (Kenya
Shilling Fifty Thousand Only) in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee from a bank licensed
and operating in Kenya or an Insurance Company approved by Insurance Regulatory Authority
(IRA) and listed by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), valid for thirty (30) days
beyond the validity of the tender (154 days) shall be submitted by prospective bidders. This shall
be in the format provided in the tender document.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 20th May, 2025 at 11.00
am EAT.
8. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. The Tenderer shall be chronologically paginated or serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted.
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead
line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below. - Late tenders will be rejected.
