PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR GCF PROJECT IMPACT DOCUMENTATION VIA GES MAPPING
Since its inception in 2020, the GCF project: Promotion of climate friendly cooking in Kenya has achieved significant results aimed at professionalizing the informal ICS supply chain in the country. More importantly is the projects contribution to the NDC obligations over the year as shown in the summary graph below. To be able to share lessons learnt and demonstrate the extent of these achievements, the project is seeking an individual consultant (a GIS mapping expert) to lead the story telling exercise, with close support from the project team.
Leveraging on the existing GIS mapping tools, the consultant is expected to create interactive maps and dashboards that overlays and visualizes the projects’ activities, results and key achievements, with the aim of telling the project implementation stories. In this regard, the GIZ Office Nairobi invites bidders (individuals) to submit, free of charge, and without obligation to GIZ, a bid to offer these services. The consultancy will be awarded to I bidders that meet and demonstrate (with proof) relevant experience in Geospatial analysis in the energy sector.
To qualify, the bidders (individual consultants) must provide a brief profile of themselves and be able to meet and demonstrate (with proof) the following eligibility criteria. Note that a separate eligibility grid is provided with this ToR.

- Tax Compliance Certificate.
- Demonstrable relevant experience of at least 3 similar assignments in terms of type and magnitude providing assignment details preferably in the table format below. The bidder is expected to provide project references with a minimum commission value of KES 2,500,000

To participate, interested bidders are required to send a blank email with tender reference: 83487172 in the subject line to: KE_Quotation@giz.de from 06.05.2025 to 11.05.2025. An email response will provide the relevant tender documents with further information on 12.05.2025 thereafter no documents will be shared.
