INVITATION TO TENDER
CONTRUCTION OF LASTMILE PIPELINES, AND SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF WATER METERS

TENDER NO. MWEWASCO/CLSG/1/2025 
1. The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water and Sanitation development
Project-Conditional Liquidity Support Grant (CLSG) II, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract
as indicated above.
2. Murang’a West Water and Sanitation Company Limited (MWEWASCO) invites interested and eligible bidders for the following
tender.

1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s
   “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised 5th Edition September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), which can be
   found in the following website: www.worldbank.org/procurement and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours from 8a.m to 1 Pm and
   2pm – 5 Pm from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays at the address given below.
3. The bidding document in English may be downloaded free of charge from the company’s website www.mwewasco.co.ke or www.ppip.go.ke.
   Bidders who download the bidding documents are required to notify the Purchaser by email with full contact details that they intended to participate
   immediately to info@mwewasco.co.ke, This will facilitate issuance of notifications by the Purchaser, to all bidders where necessary.
4. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security of Kshs. 200, 000.00 /- in form of a bank guarantee.
5. Completed tender document in plain sealed envelope clearly marked with Tender Number and Tender description shall be deposited in the Tender
   Box located at our main office at the customer care office or sent by post addressed to.
