INVITATION TO TENDER
REROUTING AND REINSTALLATION OF 280MM 4.4KM PIPELINE FOR SIAKAGO SCHEME – EMBEWASCO
NEGOTIATION NO: 1886699 -2024/2025
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours (Monday to Friday) between 8:00am to 5:00pm at the address given below.
More details on the Works are provided iN, Section V – Description of Works of the Tender
Document.
3. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates free of charge at our
website: www.embu.go.ke, www.tenders.go.ke or from the Suppliers portal:
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke . To facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
4. Eligible tenderers are required to STRICTLY respond through E-procurement suppliers’ portal:
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke and submit the original completed tender document (same as the one
submitted online) enclosed in a plain sealed envelope marked with Tender name and Negotiation number
and deposited in the Tender Box at the reception in the County Headquarters offices (Procurement Block)
on or before 16th June, 2025 at 11:00 am.
5. In case of inconsistence between bid document (hardcopy) submitted manually and bid document
submitted through the IFMIS System the tender will be disqualified.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs. 140,000.00 valid for 150 days. Failure
to attach the Tender Security will lead to automatic rejection of the tender.
7. The submitted bid through the IFMIS system MUST be a One PDF file (No Breaking)
8. Prices quoted shall be net inclusive of all taxes and levies, must be in Kenya shillings and shall
remain valid for 120 days from the date of tender closing.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
