INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF GENERAL INSURANCE BROKERAGE SERVICES
TENDER NUMBER: CMA/ONT 012-1/ 2024-2025
1. The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) invites sealed tenders for the Provision of
General Insurance Brokerage Services for a period of 3 years commencing on 1st
August 2025 to 30th June 2028 and renewable for each subsequent year upon
satisfactory performance.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open national competitive method using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and
interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect
the Tender Documents during office hours 0900 to 1600hrs at the address
given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by
interested tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of KSHs.1,000 in
cash or bankers cheque payable to Capital Markets Authority or downloaded
free of charge from the Authority’s websites; www.cma.or.ke/tenders or
Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) supplier portal

5. Interested bidders who download the documents from any of the websites
must forward their particulars immediately to: supplychain@cma.or.ke for
registration and for tender clarification purposes.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of KSHs.200,000 from a
financial institution recognized by Central Bank of Kenya or approved by PPRA
valid for a period of 180 days from the date of tender opening.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted in the sequence of 1,2,3….n (n being the last numerical page of the
tender document)
- Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 18th
June 2025 at 1100 hours East African Time. Electronic Tenders WILL NOT be permitted. - Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
choose to attend at the address below. - Late tenders will be rejected.
