INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF SECURITYSERVICES.

TENDER NUMBER: RIAT/OT/01/2025-2027

1. RAMOGIINSTITUTE OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY invites sealed tenders for the PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.

3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documentsduringoffice hours 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below. More details on the Services are providedin PART 2 – Services’ Requirements, Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.

4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment ofnonrefundable fees of Kes. 1,000.00 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.ramogiinstitute.ac.keorthegovernment tenders‟ portal www.tenders.go.ke . Tender documents obtained electronically will befreeofcharge.

5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.ramogiinstitute.ac.keorthe government tenders portal www.tenders.go.ke.

6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00amon 30th June 2025. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.

8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.

9. NOTE: Public Procurement Capacity Building Levy: Pursuant to the enactment of the Legal Notice No. 206 on Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015, Section 3 (1), Ramogi Institute of Advanced Technology shall retain the Public Procurement Capacity Building Levy at the rate of zero point zero three per centum(0.03%) of the value of the signed contract effective 1st September, 2024. Payment of the submitted invoices shall therefore be made minus this Levy.

10. Late tenders will be rejected.
