Name of Project: Water and Sanitation Development Project-Conditional Liquidity
Support Grant (CLSG) II
1. Othaya-Mukurweini Water and Sanitation PLC has received funding from the water sector
trust fund financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water and Sanitation
development Project-Conditional Liquidity Support Grant (CLSG) II, and intends to use part
of the fund to undertake the following works. The company hereby invites bids from eligible firms
to undertake the following works as per World Bank Guidelines.

- Qualified and interested Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the RFQ Documents
during office hours from 8a.m to 5 Pm from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays at the
address given below. The bidding document in English may be downloaded free of charge from
the company’s website www.omwasco.co.ke. - Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for
Bids (RFQ ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”
dated July 2016, revised 5th Edition September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), which
can be found in the following website: https://www.worldbank.org/en/programs/projectprocurement and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations - RFQ shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. RFQ shall remain valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of opening of Bids.
- The Bidders shall chronologically serialize all pages of the RFQ document submitted.
- Mandatory pre tender site visit as per the Bid Documents (East Africa Time).
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 25th August 2025 at 11.00 Am (East Africa Time).
- Electronic Bids will not be permitted.
- Completed Bids should be clearly marked with category and description in a plain sealed envelope
and deposited in the tender box at the main office addressed to.
