INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED FENCING OF THE FRUIT PROCESSING PLANT IN SHIMBA HILLS,KUBO SOUTH WARD.

1. The Kwale County Government through the Department of Trade and Enterprise Development invites
sealed tenders for the PROPOSED FENCING OF THE FRUIT PROCESSING PLANT IN SHIMBA HILLS,KUBO SOUTH WARD.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified Citizen Cntractors
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours[8:00am – 5:00am] atthe adress given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a
non- refundable fees of NIL in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender
documents may be obtained electronically from the Website www.kwalecountygov.com or
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronicallywill be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.kwalecountygov.com
or www.supplier.treasury.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particularsimmediately to info@kwale.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Bidders shall come up with dully fill the tender document bills i.e Bill 3 – Schedule of day rates- labor, Bill
4 Schedule of day rates- Materials and Bill 5 – Schedule of rates contractors’ equipment as per description of the tender.
7. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 140
days fromthe date of opening oftenders.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender-Securing Declaration,
9. Bidders shall declare through own letter head of all ongoing works or that bidder has no ongoing works
10. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted. Note that all pages
of the tender documents and attachments submitted by bidders shall be sequentially serialized. That is,
serialization shall be undertaken by the bidder, by doing fresh numbering on its documents. The
pagination of the tender documents as downloaded should not be used as a means of Serialization. The
bidder’s serialization should follow the same logical sequence from the first page to the end. i.e. 1,2,3,4…

11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date
and time specified later.
