INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION FOR INSURANCE COVER FOR GROUP LIFE, LAST EXPENSE AND WIBA (GPA PLUS)FOR MACHAKOS COUNTY STAFF

THE PUBLIC SERVICE AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT INVITES TENDERS FOR PROVISION
FOR INSURANCE COVER FORGROUP LIFE, LAST EXPENSE AND WIBA GPA PLUS FOR
MACHAKOS COUNTY STAFF.
Tendering will be conducted under open competitive
tendering method using a standardized tender document and
is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Tenderers
will be allowed to tender for one or more items.

1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 8.00am to 5.00pm at the Machakos county Headquarters p.o
box 1996-90100. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website:
www.machakosgovernment.co.ke or supplier.Treasury.go.ke or public procurement
informational portal (PPIP).
2. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of KES N/A in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the
address given below. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
3. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
(www.machakosgovernment.co.ke, or supplier.Treasury.go.ke or public procurement
informational portal (PPIP). Tenderers who download the tender document must forward
their particulars immediately to (insert email, telephone and postal address) to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum.
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” of KSH. 600,000 in form of a bank
guarantee from a reputable bank or an insurance institution approved by the Central
Bank of Kenya valid for 126 days.
- TheTenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
- Completed tenders must be delivered or SUBMITTED ONLINE VIA THE IFMIS
SUPPLIER PORTAL (supplier.treasury.go.ke) on or before 29th October,2025 at 11.00 am
Note: NO MANUAL SUBMISSION - ONLY Electronic Tenders will be permitted.
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
