SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND COMMISSIONING OF SIX (6) NO ADVANCE LIFE SUPPORT AMBULANCES AND EQUIPMENT TO POST CRASH CARE CENTRE
SUB LOT 2E: THERAPEUTIC MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO ST. JOSEPH NYABONDO MISSION HOSPITAL

Invitation for Bids [IFB] Goods
(One-Envelope Bidding Process)

1. The Government of the Republic of Kenya (GoK) has received financing
   in form of a loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB)
   hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Sirari Corridor
   Accessibility and Road Safety Improvement Project, and intends to
   apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for
   Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of Six (6) No Advance Life Support
   Ambulances and Equipment to Post Crash Care Centre; Sub Lot
   2E: Therapeutic Medical Equipment to St. Joseph Nyabondo Mission
   Hospital . For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments
   using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the
   Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project
   Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides
   to be made through letter of credit.
2. The Government of Kenya through the Kenya National Highways
   Authority, herein referred to as the Client now invites sealed Bids
   from eligible Bidders for Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of Six
   (6) No Advance Life Support Ambulances and Equipment to Post
   Crash Care Centre Sub Lot 2E: Therapeutic Medical Equipment to St.
   Joseph Nyabondo Mission Hospital
3. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding
   (International), (OCBI) method as specified in the Bank’s Procurement
   Framework and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the
   Procurement Framework.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and
   inspect the Bidding documents during office hours i.e., 0800 to 1700
   hours at the address given in item 9 below
5. A complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language
   will be available from 29th October, 2025 and may be obtained free
   of charge from the Kenya National Highways website – www.kenha.
   co.ke or the Government of Kenya Supplier Portal – PPIP Procurement
   Portal: www.tenders.go.ke or purchased from the below
   address by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee
   of KShs. 1,000.00 (Kenya Shillings One Thousand Only) in form of a
   banker’s cheque payable to: Kenya National Highways Authority.
6. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of KShs. 2,000,000
   (Kenya shillings Two Million Only) or its equivalent in a freely
   convertible currency.
7. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Framework requiring the
   Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial
   ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial
   Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.

8. There shall be No organized site visit. Bidders are encouraged to
   make arrangements to visit the site and familiarize themselves with
   the delivery site before submission of bids.

9. Bids must be enclosed in plain packages and clearly marked with the
   Tender Reference Number and Description for identification as
   appropriate, sealed and transmitted by courier or delivered by hand
   so as to be received at the address below, not later than 1100hrs
   local time on 2nd December, 2025.
