PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR COUNTY ASSEMBLY OF LAIKIPIA MEMBERS AND STAFF

COUNTY ASSEMBLY OF LAIKIPIA TENDER NOVEMBER 2025 

INVITATION TO TENDER

1. The County Assembly of Laikipia invites sealed tenders for the Provision of Medical
   Insurance Cover for County Assembly Members and Staff (Underwriters Only) for the
   period 2025-2026
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method and is open to all
   qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
   Documents during office hours at the address given below.

   during normal working hours on Monday to Friday between 0800hrs to 1700hrs (East Africa Time).
4. A complete set of tender documents may obtained electronically free of charge from
   https://laikipiaassembly.go.ke/
5. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
   https://laikipiaassembly.go.ke/to facilitate any further clarification or
   addendum/addenda.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by an Original tender security (Bid bond) of Kenya Shillings
   Five Hundred Thousand Only (Kshs 500,000); in form of a Bank guarantee from a bank licensed
   and operating in Kenya, valid for thirty (30) days beyond the validity of the tender (180 days)
   shall be submitted by prospective bidders. This shall be in the format provided in the tender
   document.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before November 13, 2025
   at 11:30am. Electronic Tenders WILL NOT be permitted.

1. Tenders that do not fit in the tender box shall be deposited at the Clerk’s Office and recorded
   using the register located at the Clerk’s Office Reception at The County Assembly of Laikipia,
   2nd Floor.
2. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above. Tenders
   will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
   choose to attend at the address below.
3. Late tenders will be rejected.
