INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR DISPOSAL OF WASTE PAPER
1. Introduction
Asumbi Girls High School invites sealed tenders from eligible and interested bidders for the
collection and disposal of waste paper generated within the school premises.

3. Eligibility Criteria
Bidders must:
1. Be a registered business entity or individual authorized to collect recyclable materials.
2. Provide a copy of a valid business registration certificate / trading license.
3. Have experience in waste collection and disposal (evidence of past similar work is an
advantage).
4. Provide a copy of a valid tax compliance certificate.
5. Provide proof of safe and environmentally friendly disposal or recycling methods.

2. Tender documents can be obtained from the school office during working hours upon
   payment of a non-refundable fee of Ksh. 500/=
3. Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly
   marked:

“TENDER FOR DISPOSAL OF WASTE PAPER – ASUMBI GIRLS HIGH
SCHOOL”
and addressed to:
The Chief Principal,
Asumbi Girls High School,
P.O. Box 46 – 40309,
ASUMBI.
3. The documents should be deposited in the tender box at the school’s Gate B on or before
[27TH Nov 2025] at 10.00am at the school staffroom.
4. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders or their
representatives who choose to attend.
5. Evaluation Criteria
Tenders will be evaluated based on:
 Compliance with eligibility requirements.
 Proposed price per kilogram or per collection.
 Environmental and safety considerations.
 Experience and reliability of the bidder.
6. Award of Tender
The successful bidder will be notified in writing. The school reserves the right to:
 Accept or reject any tender in whole or in part,
 Cancel the tender process at any time without incurring any liability.

1. Contract Duration
   The contract shall be valid for a period of [2years], renewable based on performance and mutual
   agreement.
2. Site Visit

Interested bidders may visit the school to assess the volume and nature of waste paper during
working hours upon prior arrangement with the school administration.
