INVITATION TO TENDER
THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER PUMPING STATION AND LAST MILE CONNECTIVITY FOR SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT IN KIAMWATHI-NGANGARITHIRURINGU-SKUTA-MISHA AND THUNGUMA ESTATES, NYERI COUNTY – LOT 2
CONTRACT NO.: NWSC/OT/002/2025/2026
The Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company Limited (NYEWASCO) invites sealed tenders for;
The Proposed Construction of Sewer Pumping Station and Last Mile Connectivity
for Sewer Extension Project in Kiamwathi-Ngangarithi-Ruringu-Skuta-Misha and
Thunguma Estates, Nyeri County – Lot 2
1. Tendering will be conducted under open tender method (National) using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested
Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect
the Tender Documents during office hours from 8.00am to 5.00pm at the address
given below.
3. Tendering is open to all Firms registered appropriately with the National
Construction Authority (NCA) Category NCA 4 – Water Works and Category
NCA 4 – Building Works and above categories.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Public
Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) www.tenders.go.ke and the
NYEWASCO Website(s) https://www.nyewasco.co.ke/tenders/. Tender
documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to procurement@nyewasco.co.ke to facilitate any further
clarification or addenda.
6. There will be a MANDATORY site visit on Thursday, 13th November 2025 at
10.00am using bidder’s own transport.
- Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall
remain valid for 182 days from the date of opening of tenders. - All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security” of KSH. 500,000 (Five
Hundred Thousand Kenya Shillings only) - The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted in the format of 1,2,3,4…. from first page to last page. -
Completed tenders must be delivered to the Tender Box in the address below on
or before Date Monday, 24th November 2025, at 11.00am (EAT). Completed
tenders should be submitted in one original and one copy. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted. - Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any deadline date and times specified later. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose
to attend at the address below. - Late tenders will be rejected.

envelopes marked with tender reference number and be deposited in the Tender
Box located at the Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company MAIN OFFICE Reception
situated off Kenyatta Road, Behind Nyeri County Fire Offices Nyeri Town, P. O.
Box 1520-10100 NYERI or be addressed to The Managing Director Nyeri Water and
Sanitation Co. Ltd. P. O. Box 1520-10100 Nyeri so as to be received on or before
Monday, 24th November 2025 at 11.00am
B. Address for Opening of Tenders.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the Candidates or
their representatives who choose to attend at the Nyeri Water and Sanitation
Company main office situated Off Kenyatta Road, Behind Nyeri County Fire
Offices, Nyeri Town, P. O. Box 1520-10100 NYERI at our Company Conference
Hall.
