PROVISION OF OFFICE CLEANING SERVICES AND FUMIGATION
BACKGROUND:
Trade and Development Bank (TDB) Group is a specialized African multilateral financial institution serving most of the Eastern and Southern Africa. The Bank’s objective is to provide short, medium and long-term financing to viable Projects and Trade Finance activities in member states.
The TDB office building consists of 19 (nineteen) floors and 3 (three) Basement Grade A Tower. The Bank is looking to engage Service providers for its operational support of the Building Architecture on a monthly cleaning and fumigation services as part of Facilities maintenance of the building as follows.
EXPECTED SERVICES BEING SOUGHT:
- Office Cleaning Services Tender no. TDB/FPM/CLEANING/271125
This scope will involve daily office and Basement (19 Floors,3 basement and entire Plaza) and quarterly external facade and Atrium Cleaning under the following workforce and related support:
- a)30 number general Cleaners
- b)2 Cleaning Supervisors (Male and Female)
- c)Provision of cleaning materials and equipment’s and to be viewed and priced for from our website https://www.tdbgroup.org/procurement-consulting/
- Fumigation Services Tender no. TDB/FPM/FUMIGATION/27112S
- a)Monthly fumigation of the Offices and the entire TDB Tower and its Plaza
- b)Any other applicable related support line item.
The Quotation(s) must include:
- A separate Technical and Financial Proposal (s) in Kenya Shillings VAT Exclusive.
- Include in your technical proposal the list of equipment you use to undertake the cleaning services of TDB Tower.
- Include a cost breakdown of the cleaning staff and supplies in the financial proposal.
- A written proposal showcasing the firm’s understanding of scope of works, equipment available for works, and previous experience. The written proposal is to indicate the work methodology detailing how effectively the works will be carried out without effecting Banks operations.
- Team composition and current similar task assignment for at least two similar current Buildings.
- Detailed reference list indicating the scope and magnitude of similar assignments done in the last three (3) years.
- Legally certified copies of Registration certificates, Memorandum and Articles of Association, Form CR12, Trading Licenses and other statutory documents including valid Tax Compliance Certificate (those without valid TCC are advised not to apply and won’t be considered) and passport or ID copies of the shareholders and directors of the firm and valid license to undertake the services.

- Any certification membership of applicable professional bodies will be an added advantage.
