PROVISION OF GROUP MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR MEMBERS OF COUNTY ASSEMBLY, SPEAKER,
BOARD MEMEBRS AND STAFF
1. The Kitui County Assembly Service Board invites sealed Tenders for the Provision of
Group Medical Insurance Cover for Members of County Assembly (MCAS), Speaker,
Board Members and Staff for a period of Twelve (12) Months with effect from
6/2/2026 with an option of extension subject to annual performance review.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a
standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Insurance
Companies/Underwriters only registered appropriately with IRA. No brokers.
3. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded free of charge from the
websites: www.kituiassembly.go.ke or supplier.treasury.go.ke or tenders .go.ke.
Bidders are encouraged to keep on checking the assembly website and state portal
for any clarification or addendum communication.
4. Completed tender documents with all the attachments MUST be submitted
Electronically through IFMIS supplier portal www.supplier.treasury.go.ke so as to be
received not later than 22nd December 2025 at 12.00 Noon.
5. Manual submission will Not be accepted.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” of KSH. 400,000. in
form of guarantee from reputable bank or a different insurance company
valid for 150 days.
- With an exception of bidders with Digital Bid Securities where the issuer
has provided mechanism(s) to verify the securities such as use of the QR
code or an online portal~ (PPRA Circular No.01/2023), all other original bid
securities must be hand delivered and deposited at the tender box on or
before the tender closing date and time at the address provided. A scanned
of the original bid security must also be uploaded in the Ifmis supplier
portal together with other tender attachments. -
The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted
and Arithmetic errors will lead to disqualification of the tenderer. - The system will automatically LOCK OUT at the time and date of the tender Closing as
indicated in the IFMIS PORTAL. - Tenders will be electronically opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below. - The addresses referred to above are:
