SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TEXTBOOKS

3. The (COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF KWALE) invites sealed tenders for the supply anddelivery [SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TEXTBOOKS ]Tendering will be conducted under opencompetitive method [OPEN NATIONAL TENDERING] using a standardized tender document.

Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers (AS SPECIFIED ON PART 4. OFITT).

1. “Tendering is open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with WOMENENTERPRISES.

2. (NA) “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more lots”.

3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the TenderDocuments during office hours [0900 to 1500 hours] at the address given below.

4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders uponpayment of a non- refundable fees of (NIL Kenya shillings) in cash or Banker’s Chequeandpayable to the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically fromtheWebsite((www.kwalecountygov.com)). Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.

5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free fromthe website(www.kwalecountygov.com OR www.supplier.treasury.go.ke ). Tenderers who download the tenderdocument must forward their particulars immediately to (jumwanza@gmail.com) to facilitateanyfurther clarification or addendum.

6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a [ “Tender-Securing Declaration witnessedbyCommissioner for Oath]
   The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted. Please note that all pages of the tender documents and attachments submitted by bidders shall besequentially serialized. That is, serialization shall be undertaken by the bidder, by doing fresh numbering on its documents.

The pagination of the tender documents as downloaded shouldnot beused as a means of Serialization. The bidder’s serialization should follow the same logical sequencefrom the first page to the end.

3. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or anydead line date and time specified later.

Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of theTenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.

1. Late tenders will be rejected (This will be done automatically by the system immediately after deadlineof tender submission.
