INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF GENERAL INSURANCE COVER
TENDER NO: CAN/T/07/2025-2026
1. The County Assembly of Nakuru invites sealed tenders for Provision of General Insurance Cover.
2. Tendering will be conducted under Open National Tendering Method using a standardized tender
document and is open to all qualified Insurance companies and Insurance Brokers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 0900 to 1500 hours] at the address given below. Tender documents may be
viewed and/or downloaded from the assembly website; www.nakuruassembly..go.ke, Public
Procurement Information Portal; https://www.tenders.go.ke and , the supplier portal:
supplier.treasury.go.ke.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.assembly.nakuru.go.ke, the supplier portal: supplier.treasury.go.ke. and Public Procurement
Information Portal.; https://www.tenders.go.ke.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security in form of Bank Guarantee of Kenya Shillings
Fifty Thousand (Kshs. 50,000).
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders shall be submitted back in Both Hard and Soft Copy through both IFMIS
supplier’s portal supplier.treasury.go.ke. Hard copies shall be in plain sealed envelope indicating
tender number and description as described in the Tender Document to be deposited in the Tender box
located at County Assembly reception or send by post to address below;

8. The deadline for submission is on or before 6th February 2026 at 11.00 a.m. (East African Time).
Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
