INVITATION TO TENDER

PROPOSED DRILLING, EQUIPPING AND RETICULATION OF MUUMANDU SECONDARY SCHOOL
BOREHOLE IN KOLA WARD
The (DEPARTMENT WATER, IRRIGATION, SANITATION, ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE) invites sealed
tenders for the PROPOSED DRILLING, EQUIPPING AND RETICULATION OF MUUMANDU SECONDARY
SCHOOL BOREHOLE IN KOLA WARD
Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
In case tender is subject to multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one
or more lots”.
In case this tender is subject to a Reservation, specify the Group is eligible to tender, Insert e.g.” Tendering

1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information during office hours 9.00AM TO
5.00PM Monday to Friday in writing via email suplychain@machakos.go.ke . Tender documents
may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website: www.machakos.go.ke or
supplier.treasury.go.ke or public procurement informational portal (PPIP).
2. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s)
www.machakos.go.ke, www.suppliers.treasury.go.ke or Public procurement information portal
www.tenders.go.ke free of charge.
3. Interested and eligible bidders having challenge uploading their tenders documents in the integrated
financial management information system (IFMIS), supplier portal may obtain assistance from IFMIS
helpdesk on 0800721477/0202480180 at National treasury.
4. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for (119) days from the date of opening of tenders.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” of N/A
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be SUBMITTED MANUALLY on or before 13TH MARCH,
2026.

8. ONLY Manual Tenders will be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the close date. Bidders are advised to come and participate in the opening process.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
