PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF MANYANZAANI – NDUNDUNI KATULYE-MBIUNI –KABAA ROAD PHASE I (MULTI YEAR PROJECT)

The County Government of Machakos Department of Transport &Roads invites sealed tenders / Bids from
eligible Contractors for the PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF MANYANZAANI – NDUNDUNI-KATULYEMBIUNI –KABAAROAD PHASE I (MULTIYEARPROJECT)to be funded by County Government of Machakos
for FY: 2025/2026, 2026/2027 and 2027/2028. The construction period for the proposed works will be 30 months.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method(National)using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to all qualifi ed and interested Tenderers.

2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours [0800-1700hrs] at the address given below.
3. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenderers upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of (N/A)in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address
given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s)
www.machakosgovernment.co.ke PPI Portal www.tenders.go.ke. Or www.supplier.treasury.go.ke.
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.machakosgovernment.co.ke. IFMIS Supplier portal and PPIP Portal.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a BIDSECURITY IN THE FORM OFUNCONDITIONALBANK
GUARANTEE ISSUED BY BANKS REGULATED BY THE CENTRAL BANK OF KENYA of KSHS
2,500,000.00(Kenya Shillings Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Kenya). Original bid security to
be submitted to the office of Head, Supply Chain Management Office during working hours and
before the closing Date and Time.
- The Tenderer shall chronologically serialise all pages of the tender documents submitted.
- Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before [N/A]. Electronic Tenders will
be permitted. Completed tender documents must be submitted through the IFMIS Supplier portal,
https://supplier.treasury.go.ke so as to be received not later than 27th March, 2026. Only
original bid security from banks are to be delivered to the – office of Supply Chain Management
Department of Transport, Roads and Public works during working hours and before the closing Date and Time. - Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date on IFMIS Portal www.supplier.treasury.go.ke.
Bidders are advised to monitor the opening process through the same portal - The system will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender closing as indicated in the IFMIS
portal. Manual Tenders WILL NOT be permitted and Late tenders will be rejected. -

Financial Management Information System (IFMIS)Supplier Portal may obtain assistance from the
