INVITATION TO TENDER
Tender For Supply and Delivery of HDPE, GI Pipes & Fittings and Hardware, Building & Construction Materials for Mathira Water Supply Project.
1. Tana Water Works Development Agency invites sealed tenders for the provision of services, i.e.
Provision of Supply and Delivery of Construction and Hardware Materials for Mathira Water Supply Project.
2. Tendering will be reserved for firms owned by (Women &Youth) using a standardized tender document.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours 8.00 am to 5.00 p.m. except Fridays from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. at the address given below. More
details on the goods are provided in PART 2 – Goods’ Requirements, Section V – Description of Goods of the
Tender Document.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenderers upon payment of a
non-refundable fees of KES1,000 and payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained
electronically from the Website(s) www.tanawwda.go.ke and PPRA PPIP portal www.tenders.go.ke. Tender
documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.tanawwda.go.ke. Tenderers
who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to ceo@tanawwda.go.ke to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “Tender Securing Declaration Form” in any form as provided for in
the PPADR 2020, Section 45.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday 28th April,
2026. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
