For over four decades, MSF has provided medical and humanitarian care to Somali communities across the Horn of Africa. In Somalia, MSF responds to urgent needs linked to conflict, displacement, and extreme weather, while supporting Ministry of Health facilities. Our work strengthens care through training and capacity building, quality improvement, hospital rehabilitation, WASH services, and infection prevention and control. MSF currently runs medical activities in Baidoa (Bay Region) and in Galkayo North (Puntland) and Galkayo South (Galmudug).
