CALL FOR IMPLEMENTING PARTNER – GENDER-RESPONSIVE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT & FINANCIAL INCLUSION FOR RETURNED MIGRANTS IN MOMBASA COUNTY, KENYA
The ILO seeks a qualified implementing partner to support the reintegration of returned migrants in Mombasa County through skills training, SACCO establishment, and financial empowerment.
Scope includes:
- Delivering ILO-aligned training (GYB, SYB, Financial Literacy, Life Skills, and Think.COOP) to 200 returnees
- Extending Think.COOP training to 611 previously supported individuals
- Establishing a returnee SACCO, with governance structures, leadership training, and seed funding
- Facilitating targeted cash transfers to 200 vulnerable returnees
- Providing vocational/technical skills training with a gender-responsive approach
- Offering Business Development Services (BDS) – including business planning, registration, financial management, marketing, and financing support
- Providing 6 months of business coaching and mentoring
- Ensuring at least 70% of trained returnees engage in sustainable businesses
