EMBU COUNTY GOVERNMENT (ECG) TENDER APRIL 2026
INVITATION TO TENDER
1.The EMBU COUNTY GOVERNMENT (ECG) invites sealed tenders for the Construction of
Kapendo Market Shed. Tendering will be conducted under National open competitive method using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all eligible, qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
from 0900-1700hours at the address: The County Secretary, Embu County Government,
3. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from www.embu.go.ke or
www.tenders.go.ke.
4. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
150 days from the date of opening of tenders.
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
6. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 22ND APRIL, 2026 at 12
NOON Both manually and through the IFMIS system.

The eligible tenderers are also required to STRICTLY respond through e-procurement supplier’s portal:
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke and submit a copy of the original duly filled tender document (same as the one
submitted online).
1. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
Late tenders will be rejected.

- Hand Delivered tender documents to be deposited in the Tender Box located at main Procurement
office on or before 22ND APRIL, 202612 at NOON. Late tenders will be rejected. - NOTE: Due diligence shall be carried out on all information provided.
