COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF WEST POKOT TENDER MARCH 2022 

KENYA URBAN SUPPORTPROGRAMME (KUSP)

1. The Government of Kenya has received financing from the world Bank toward the cost of the Kenya Urban Support Programme [KUSP], [being implemented by the County Government of West Pokot, hereafter referred to as the Employer] and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contracts Indicated below.
2. The County Government of West Pokot now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to apply for the following tender;-

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures but will in all respects comply with the World Bank’s Procurement Guidelines for procurement of Goods, works and Non -consulting services [January 2011 Edition] and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement Guidelines in addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the world bank’s policy on conflict of interest
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address below during office hours 08.00 -17.00 hours, Monday to Friday, exclusive of holidays. Bidders can inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours 08.00 hours to 17.00 hours Monday to Friday, exclusive holiday.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English shall be obtained from the County website www.westpokot.gb.ke or www.kapenguriamunicipality.co.ke or public procurement information portal www.tenders.go.ke free of charge .Bidders who download the bidding document shall forward their full contacts details to procurement@westpokot.go.ke  . No. arrangements have been made for other methods of delivery of bidding documents.
6. Bids [clearly marked with the tender number and name and with no other markings] must be delivered to the address below on or before Thursday 14^th  April 2022 at 11a.m. and immediately opened in the presence of the bidders or the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend in person at Treasury building Lower boardroom. Electronic bidding will NOT be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
7.  All bid must be accompanied by Bid Security as indicated under 2 above 8. The address referred to above.
