NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING [NCB]

  1. The National treasury has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Agricultural and Rural Inclusive Growth Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Construction of water pans/ dams.
  2. Turkana County Government (TCG] now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Lopeduru earth dam and Kachoda water pan at Lopeduru and Kachoda villages respectively, to be completed within 120 days from the date of contract signing.

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive procurement using request for bids [RFB] as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement regulations for IPF Borrowers- procurement in investment project financing.
  2. Interested National Contractors shall download the tender document from TCG website freely: www.turkana.co.ke or government portal: https://tenders.go.ke. And MUST forward their particulars immediately for recording and further clarification and addends to procurement, supplychainoffice@turkana.go.ke . & NARIGP, County Project Coordinator through email address narigp.turkana@gmail.com
  3. There shall be a mandatory Pre-Tender Site Visit that will be conducted by the employer for Lopeduru earth dam on Wednesday, 24th August 2022 Time: 09.30 am. Assembly point: Lokichar [Lokori junction] before proceeding to Lopeduru village, in Katilia Ward, Turkana East Sub County. For kachoda water pan it will be on Friday 26th August, 2022 Time: 10.00 am. Assembly point: Kachoda center before proceeding to pan site, in Lapur Ward, Turkana North Sub County.
  4. Bids must be delivered and deposited in the Tender Box located at Turkana County Headquarters Next to Governor’s Office, and addressed to
