INVITATION TO TENDER
CONSTRUCTION OF WASTE WATER DECENTRALIZED TREATMENT FACILITY AT CHWELE
TENDER REF NO: BWASCO/WDF/OT/05/2025/2026
1. The BWASCO Water and Sewerage PLC invites sealed tenders for the construction of Waste Water
Decentralized Treatment Facility at Chwele
2. Tendering will be conducted under open national competitive method using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. candidates may download a complete set of tender document with evaluation criteria from the BWASCO
Water and Sewerage PLC website www.bwasco.or.ke and/or Public Procurement Information portal:
www.tenders.go.ke using the unique tender number indicated in the tender advert
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a
non- refundable fees of (Amount in Kenya shillings) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address
given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.bwasco.or.ke Tender
documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.bwasco.or.ke Tenderers who
download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to (Ag. Managing Director of P.O
Box 1005-50205 Webuye email: info@bwasco.or.ke ) to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 120
days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” of Kshs. 320,000 shillings only
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders must be submitted manually at the below address. KINDLY NOTE THAT
ELECTRONIC TENDERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
times pecified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.

Completed tender documents should be serialized and be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with tender
reference number and be deposited in the Tender Box located at the BWASCO Boardroom situated opposite Rai
Paper Mills in Webuye, behind Masinde Muliro University Webuye campus., P. O. Box 1005-50205 WEBUYE or
be addressed to The Managing Director BWASCO Water and Sewerage PLC P. O. Box 1005-50205 Webuye so as
to be received on or before 22nd December, 2025 at 12.00PM.
