CONSULTANCY FOR CONDUCTING AN ASSESSMENT ON DOMESTIC WORKERS PROVIDING CARE AND SUPPORT TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
The International Labour Organization (ILO) is seeking an individual consultant to conduct a survey on the care and support provided by domestic workers to persons with disabilities in Kenya. The consultant will assess working conditions, occupational safety, social security, and other demographic factors, and provide recommendations to improve policy, legislative frameworks, and social protection. This work will contribute to global efforts to ensure decent work for domestic workers and support disability inclusion.
Required Qualifications:
– Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, or related fields.
– Experience in disability inclusion and working with domestic workers.
– Proven track record in conducting similar assessments and policy research.
Timeline: 30 working days, Q1 2025
