The Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) is a state corporation whose mandate is to plan, design, construct, own, operate and maintain high voltage electricity transmission lines and substations throughout the Country.
KETRACO as the Government of Kenya implementing agency on behalf of the Ministry of Energy, now invites bids from eligible bidders for the execution of works for the Nanyuki- Isiolo 132kV Underground Cable project.
The major works to be carried out by the Contractor shall comprise of but not be limited to the Inspection, Design, Supply, Construction and Commissioning of approximately 16.8km Nanyuki-Rumuruti 132kV Double Circuit Underground Transmission Line and approximately 4.2km Nanyuki-Isiolo 132kV Single Circuit Underground Transmission Line.
The General Conditions of Contract shall follow the provisions of AfDB’s SBD for Plant Design, Supply and Installation September 2010, revised February 2018.

Complete bid documents should be submitted on or before Friday, 27th August 2021 at 10:00 a.m. EAT and must be accompanied by a Bid Security outlined in the bidding document.
Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend in KETRACO Supply Chain Management Offices at KAWI House, South C, Nairobi.
