DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTEGRATED DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
ICS SP has been a regional leader in child protection for over 30 years, implementing innovative, evidence-based strategies to strengthen families, promote child welfare, and influence policies. While ICS SP captures and reports on key performance indicators, the current Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system remains fragmented across multiple standalone databases (MS Excel, MS Dynamics, Kobo Collect), leading to inefficiencies in accessing, processing, and analyzing data.
ICS seeks a qualified consultant/firm to develop and implement a web-based Integrated Database Management System (IDMS) for efficient data aggregation, analysis, and reporting. The system will integrate existing data sources (MS Dynamics, Kobo Collect, Google Forms, etc.) and provide real-time monitoring, automated data flow, and user-friendly visualization.
Objectives:
- Develop a secure, web-based database system with an interactive dashboard.
- Integrate the system with existing data sources via API connections.
- Ensure GDPR compliance and secure user access control.
- Improve staff skills in data handling, reporting, and system maintenance.
Scope of Work:
- Review current data management tools and propose a database platform.
- Develop database architecture, security measures, and integration features.
- Design real-time data visualization tools and performance tracking linked to financial data.
- Develop SOPs for data management and user access control.
- Conduct staff training on data handling and system administration.
Deliverables:
- A fully functional IDMS with reporting and dashboard features.
- API integrations with existing data tools.
- Comprehensive SOP manual and training materials.
- Post-implementation technical support.
