DEVELOPMENT OF EMBU COUNTY EYE HEALTH STRATEGIC PLAN
The Fred Hollows Foundation, an international NGO committed to preventing avoidable blindness and improving eye health globally, invites applications from experienced consultants to develop the Embu County Eye Health Strategic Plan for 2025-2029. This strategic plan will guide decision-making and the delivery of eye health services in Embu County, focusing on the high burden of visual impairment and providing a framework for future interventions.
Key Objectives of the Consultancy:
- Conduct a situational analysis of the eye health status in Embu County.
- Develop a comprehensive, evidence-based Eye Health Strategic Plan for Embu County.
- Facilitate workshops and consultations to gather input from stakeholders.
- Provide a results framework, including a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework.
Consultant Requirements:
- Master’s degree in planning, public health, or related fields.
- At least five years of experience in strategic planning and health program development.
- Experience in eye health programs and working with government stakeholders is preferred.
