NATIONAL OPEN TENDER
The Office of the Official Receiver in Insolvency is established under the Insolvency
Act, 2015 as the Official Receiver in Insolvency. The office is a department under the
Business Registration Service, a Semi-Autonomous Government Agency under the
Office of the Attorney General & Department of Justice.
The Official Receiver in Insolvency deals with Licensing & Supervision of Insolvency
Practitioners, administration & supervision of Bankruptcy of Natural persons &
Administration and Liquidation of Companies.
The office carries out the functions under the Insolvency Act, No. 18 of 2015 and
Bankruptcy Act (Cap 53 Laws of Kenya (repealed)) and Companies Act (Cap 486 Laws
of Kenya (repealed)) respectively.
The Official Receiver of the Republic of Kenya in exercise of its power as the
Administrator of EKORENT AFRICA LIMITED (IN LIQUIDATION), invites interested
eligible bidders to tender for:
DISPOSAL OF MOTOR VEHICLES (NISSAN LEAF) AND CHARGERS FOR EKORENT AFRICA
LIMITED( IN LIQUIDATION)
OR/OT/008/2022-2023
Complete set of tender documents can be downloaded free of charge from the
government tender portal www.tenders.go.ke and the BRS website
www.brs.go.ke.
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, must be expressed in Kenya
shillings and shall remain valid for a period of 150 days from the closing date of the
tender.
Each copy of the tender shall be paginated serially, prior to submission.

Completed tender documents MUST be enclosed in plain sealed envelope, marked
with the Tender Number and Name and be deposited in the BRS Tender Box located
on 17th Floor, 316 Upper Hill Chambers, Nairobi, Kenya addressed to:
So as to be received on or before 8th March 2023 at 10.00 AM.
Tenders shall be opened promptly thereafter in the presence of the
Tenderer’s or their representatives who choose to attend the Opening on 17th
Floor Boardroom at the Business Registration Service offices.
