Assignment Title: Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study and Detailed
Engineering Design for the Marura Kamkunji flagship project.

ELDOWAS invites Expressions of Interest from eligible and qualified consulting firms
to undertake feasibility studies and detailed engineering design for the Marura
Kamkunji flagship project. The objective of the consultancy is to assess the technical,
economic, environmental, and social viability of the project and to prepare
comprehensive detailed designs to support its implementation.
The consultant will prepare preliminary and detailed engineering designs for water
supply infrastructure including transmission pipelines, storage reservoirs, and
distribution networks. In addition, the assignment will cover preparation of
environmental and social safeguard instruments.
Interested consulting firms must demonstrate their qualifications and relevant
experience by providing company profiles, descriptions of similar assignments
undertaken, experience in comparable environments, and evidence of availability of
appropriate technical expertise and professional staff. Shortlisting will be based on
experience in feasibility studies and detailed engineering design of water supply
projects of similar scope and complexity, and availability of qualified personnel.
Interested firms may obtain further information during office hours from 0800 to 1700
hours. Expressions of Interest must be submitted on or before 10th April 2026 at 1200
hours East African Time and clearly marked “Expression of Interest for Consultancy
Services for Feasibility Study and Detailed Engineering Design for the Marura Kamkunji flagship project.
