INVITATION TO TENDER
EXTENSION OF MUKUYUNI WATER PROJECT

The County Government of Bungoma through the Department of Water and Natural Resources invites sealed tenders for the construction
of Extension of mukuyuni water project
1. Tendering will be conducted under open national competitive method using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
In case this tender is subject to a Reservation, specify the Group that is eligible to tender, i.e. tendering is open to
e.g. all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with………………………”.
2. candidates may download a complete set of tender document with evaluation criteria from the County
Government of Bungoma website www.bungoma.go.ke and/or Public Procurement Information portal:
www.tenders.go.ke using the unique IFMIS negotiation number indicated in the tender advert
3. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a
non- refundable fees of (Amount in Kenya shillings) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address
given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.bungoma.go.ke.
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.bungoma.go.ke. Tenderers
who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to (chief officer water and
natural resources of p.o box 437 bungoma) to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 120
days from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a [insert “tender Security” or “Tender-Securing Declaration,” as
appropriate] of [insert amount and currency incase of a tender Security.]
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be submitted through the IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTAL www.supplier.treasury.go.ke
as per the requirement contained in the tender document so as to be received on or before 2/3/2026 at 11:00am
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
times pecified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
