INVITATION TO TENDER
GENERAL INSURANCE FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS
TENDER NO: CGN/GVN/2071779-2025/2026
1. The County Government of Nyandarua invites sealed tenders for the Provision of General
Insurance for a period of 2-years renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized
tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours (8.00AM-5:00PM) at the address given below. County website
www.nyandarua.go.ke and/or from the Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP)
www.tenders.go.ke, free of charge.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of KES 1,000 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to
the address given below. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.nyandarua.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document are advised to forward
their particulars to scms@nyandarua.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security from a Bank or insurance company
approved by the Authority or a financial Institutions approved and Licensed by the Central
Bank of Kenya of Kshs. 500,000 (Kenya shillings Five Hundred Thousand) and shall remain
valid for a period of 210 days from the date of Tender opening.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 7th January, 2025 at
11:00am. Electronic Tenders MUST also be submitted through the IFMIS GOK Portal:
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke Negotiation no: 2071779-2025/2026 on or before 7
th January,
2026 at 11:00am. Late bids shall be locked out.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
