INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER NO. JKF/T/03/2023 – 24
GROUP LIFE ASSURANCE (GLA), GROUP DISABILITY INCOME INSURANCE (GDII) AND LAST EXPENSE (LE) COVERS FOR ONE YEAR
JKF wishes to contract reputable Group Life Insurance Provider to provide Group
Life Cover to her staff. Bidders are required to quote for 91 staff.
The period of this Insurance will commence from the date the contract takes effect as
per tender process and may be renewed for a further period of one (1) year at the
discretion of JKF and service provider subject to satisfactory performance.
Eligibility, Access and submission
1. Interested eligible candidates may obtain a complete set of tender documents may be
purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a non-refundable fees of
KShs. 1,000.00. Payment should be made to the Cashier at the Accounts Department
at THE JOMO KENYATTA FOUNDATION (JKF) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and
payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be viewed and
downloaded for free from the website https://www.tenders.go.ke or www.jkf.co.ke
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to info@jkf.co.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery costs, must be expressed in
Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for a period of 120 days from the closing date of the
tender.
Completed Tender Documents enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with the Tender
Name and Number should be deposited in the Tender Box provided at The Jomo Kenyatta
Foundation’s Offices located in Kilimani area, Dennis pritt Road off State House road,
Nairobi, Nairobi addressed to:

Duly completed bid documents should be deposited in the tender box located at the reception
area on or before 24th
. May, 2024 at 11.30 a.m.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers
representatives who choose to attend at the conference room in the same venue.
