INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) – Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation

MINISTRY OF WATER, SANITATION AND IRRIGATION TENDER 2020 

The Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the following works:

Interested eligible contractors who meet the following minimum conditions may apply.

1. a)Registered with NCA6 water works and above.
2. b)Proof of legal existence
3. c)Copies of valid tax compliance. Vat and Pin certificates
4. d)Adequate plant and equipment, professional and technical staff
5. e)Evidence of past experience in similar works of same nature and complexity

Contractors may obtain detailed information and inspect the tender documents at Ministry of Water and Irriga­tion offices located at Maji House, Ngong Road, at the procurement department 3rd floor room 322 during normal working hours.

A complete set of tender documents can be down loaded from the Ministry’s website www.water.go.ke or IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTAL www.supplier.treasury.go.ke.

The completed tender document in plain sealed envelope clearly marked “Tender No….    for the Construction of…..  should be addressed;

Tender Document for……. and be deposited in Tender Box on Ground Floor at Ministry of Water, Sani­tation and Irrigation Offices so as to be received on or before 17^th November 2020 at 10.00 a.m. Prices quoted should be inclusive of taxes and shall remain valid for 120 days from closing date of the tender.

The tender will be opened immediately thereafter in our Board room at 6^th floor Maji House in presence of bidders or their representatives who may wish to attend.

Selection of bidders will be in accordance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015
