INVITATION TO LOCAL OPEN TENDER

TENDER REFERENCE NO: FCA/KE/12221/2021/001.

 Title: Construction of inclusive learning and sanitation facilities, Installation of school fences and gates, Rehabilitation of inclusive learning and sanitation facilities in Future, Friends, Bright and Joy Primary Schools in Kalobeyei Settlement, Turkana County.

As such, FCA invites interested, eligible and competent firms to bid through open domestic bidding for works below. INVITATION TO BID With Funds received from PRM, Finn Church Aid (FCA) is launching a “Local Open Tender” and invites interested contractors for the following Tender: Construction.

1.)    Construction of permanent classrooms and gender sensitive inclusive pit latrines at Future Primary School.

2.)    Construction of semi-permanent classrooms and gender sensitive inclusive pit latrines at Future, Friends and Bright Primary School.

3.)    Installation of fences and gates at Joy and Future Primary Schools.

4.)    Rehabilitation of classrooms and latrines at Joy, Future, Kalobeyei Settlement, Friends and Morning Star Primary.

Bidding will be conducted through an open tender procedure.

  1. All the works are for a humanitarian project implemented by FCA in Kalobeyei Settlement, Turkana County.
  2. Please note that the bid prices shall be quoted in KES only inclusive of VAT.

 All bids, in English only, must be submitted as one fully scanned document (both the tender dossier and supporting documents) online through E-mail: Kenya.tender1@kua.fi  with the tender reference number as the subject of the mail: by 2359 hrs Kenyan time on 16/11/2021. Late bids will be rejected.

Applicants with enquiries regarding these tenders should send them in writing via E-mail Keco.Procurement@kua.fi  up to 2/11/2021 by 1700hrs.

  1. Tenders will be opened at the address mentioned below at the time stated in the tender dossier. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, tender opening will take place on 18/11/2021 at 10.30 am through zoom (Please share the company representative’s email where the link will be sent).
  2. Tender documents will be available from 27/10/2021 at 1500hrs to 16/11/2021 by 1700hrs. Interested Bidders may obtain a complete set of bidding documents in English at no cost from the contact mentioned below.
