INVITATION TO TENDER
LEASING OF VEHICLES, PLANT AND EQUIPMENT FOR A PERIOD OF FOUR YEARS

i. . The Nairobi City County Government invites sealed tenders for LEASING OF
VEHICLES, PLANT AND EQUIPMENT FOR A PERIOD OF FOUR YEARS
ii. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
iii. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically from t h e PPIP Website
www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
iv. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of ;
Lot 1- Kshs 1,000,000, Lot 2 – Kshs. 1,000,000, Lot 3- Kshs. 1,000,000, Lot 4 – Kshs
1,000,000 Lot 5, Kshs 1,000,000, Lot 6 Kshs 1,000,000 valid for 210 days from the date of
tender opening. Failure to attach the Tender Security will lead to automatic rejection of the proposal.
v. The Tenderer, at the Tenderer’s own responsibility and risk, is encouraged to visit and examine and
inspect the Site of the Required Services and its surroundings and obtain all information that may be
necessary for preparing the Tender and entering into a contract for the Services. The costs of visiting
the Site shall beat the Tenderer’s own expense.
vi. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 18th March 2026 at 11:00am.
vii. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
viii. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
ix. Completed Tender Documents in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender number and
title shall be deposited in the Tender Box located at the main entrance to the procurement
offices located on the 4th floor m ain city hall room 400 SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT OFFICE
x. Tenderers are advised to indicate specific lot(s) submitting their bids for eg. Trucks
LOT 1;
Double Cabin pick-ups (4×4, diesel)
Double Cabin Pick-ups with super structure
Heavy-duty Station Wagons (SUVs), 4×4, diesel
Staff Buses (33–35 seater)
LOT 2- Fire Engines / Water Tankers (10,000-litre foam tenders)
LOT 3- Fully Equipped Ambulances
LOT 4- Motor Graders
LOT 5- Hydraulic Platforms (15-metre)
LOT 6- Light Duty Towing Breakdowns
– Light Duty Towing Breakdown Mounted On A 4×4 Heavy Duty 1800-2400ccdiesel S/Cab Pick Up
– Medium Duty Breakdown Trucks
xi. Late tenders will be rejected.
