INVITATION TO APPLY FOR PREQUALIFICATION
PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR PROVISION OF CONFERENCE FACILITIES AND ASSOCIATED SUPPLIES AND
SERVICES FOR CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN MOMBASA

1. The State Department for the Blue Economy and Fisheries intends to Pre-qualify Service Providers for
Conference to be held in Mombasa contract number; MMBEMA/SDBE&F/2025-2026; For Provision
of Conference Facilities and Associated Supplies and Servicesfor Conference to be held in Mombasa.
2. It is expected that the Invitation to Tender will be made in April, 2026. Tendering will be conducted through
Restricted Tendering to Pre-Qualified firms procedures using a standardized tender document and will be
open to all applicants who prequalify.
3. Qualified and interested applicants may obtain further information and inspect the Prequalification Document
during office hours i.e. 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below.
4. A complete set of Prequalification Document in English may be purchased or obtained by interested applicants
upon payment of a non-refundable fees of Kenya shillings 1,000 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to
the address given below. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Prequalification Document may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website (www.mibema.go.ke,
www.tenders.go.ke) Applicants who download the Prequalification Document must forward their particulars
immediately to;ps@blueeconomy.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Applications for prequalification should be submitted by postal service, or hand/courier delivery, clearly
marked envelopes and delivered to the address given below by 3rd March, 2026 at 10.00 AM. Al
ternatively, documents may be sent electronically to the email address; N/A
7. Late applications will be rejected.
