INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION 

TENDER NAME: PREQUALIFICATION OF SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THE PROVISION OF
INTEGRATION SERVICES FOR INSURANCE DATA TO THE NATIONAL TRANSPORT AND SAFETY
AUTHORITY 
TENDER NO. NTSA/PREQ-005/2022-2023 

1. The National Transport and Safety Authority hereinafter referred to as the “Procuring entity” intends
to prequalify candidates for the provision of integration services for insurance data to the National
Transport and Safety Authority.
2. Prequalification is open to all eligible bidders.

3. Interested and eligible candidates may view the detailed prequalification documents and further
details regarding the prequalification submission from our website www.ntsa.go.ke/tenders or
Public Procurement Information Portal https://tenders.go.ke. The prequalification documents can
be downloaded free of charge. All bidders interested in participating in the tender are required to
forward their contact details on email to procurement@ntsa.go.ke in case of any further tender
addendum.
4. A minimum requirement for prequalification is to have proven experience of insurance data
integration services or similar and/or related services.
5. Applications for prequalification must be submitted enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with
the tender name and reference number and deposited in the Tender Box on 8
th Floor, National Transport and Safety Authority’s Headquarters, 316 Upperhill Chambers, 2
nd Ngong Avenue, Nairobi or to be addressed to the Director General, P.O Box 3602-00506, Nairobi to be received
on or before Wednesday, 19th October 2022 at 11.00 a.m.
6. Applications for prequalification will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the
Candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at the Boardroom on the 9
th Floor of 316 Upperhill Chambers.
7. Only candidates prequalified under this prequalification process will enter into Service Level
Agreement with the Authority for the provision of integration services for insurance data. Canvasing
will lead to automatic disqualification.

8. Submitted prequalification documents should be duly paginated including attachments.
