PREQUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR THE PERIOD FY 2026 – 2028
Established in 2005, Fairtrade Africa (FTA) is the independent non-profit umbrella organization representing all Fairtrade certified producers in Africa. FTA is owned by its members, who are African producer organizations certified against International Fairtrade standards producing traditional export commodities such as flowers, coffee, cocoa, tea, cotton, bananas, mango and non-traditional commodities including shea butter and rooibos tea. Currently, the organization represents over 1.4 million smallholder farmers and workers across 33 countries in Africa.
Fairtrade Africa is updating its supplier database and is therefore inviting interested and eligible suppliers within Kenya to submit their applications for the prequalification of suppliers for various goods, services and consultancy services for the period of prequalification 2026-2028.
To manage this process, the organization has appointed Bold Insight Tech Solutions Ltd, the providers of SRM eProcurement platform, as the consultants for this prequalification exercise. The pre-qualification process will therefore be conducted electronically on SRM eProcurement portal www.srmhub.com .The categories for the supply of various goods and services are listed on https://shorturl.at/YmQJQ
Access to submit the application shall be automatically granted upon payment of a non- refundable tender fee of KES 1,300.00 per tender category as defined in the application portal. This fee should be paid using Mpesa Paybill No. 4699518, Account No. “Auto generated at the payment stage in the system”.
FTA reserves the right to accept or reject any bid in whole, or in part, without giving reasons.
